The Chesapeake Registry Program, an affiliate of The Maryland Hospital Association’s shared services subsidiary PRIME, was developed in response to member concerns regarding the quality and availability of supplemental staff.
The program is provided as a service to participating institutions in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Delaware. This cooperative purchasing program uses the volume of participating institutions supplemental staffing needs to develop favorable contracts and increase the availability of staff while enhancing the quality of the process.
As we begin 2009, we are looking forward to another successful year with our agencies.
Participation in the Per Diem Nursing Program requires Maryland and/or DC licensure for nurse staffing agencies to staff Hospitals. Therefore, the RFP submission requires a copy of your agency's valid license.
If your agency does not hold a current license, please contact the appropriate licensing Board below to submit an application.
- Maryland licensure is issued by the Department of Health & Mental Hygiene. The contact person is Rita Plummer and she can be reached at 410-402-8038.
- District of Columbia licensure is issued by the Health Professional Licensing Administration. Please contact Melondy Franklin at 202-442-4845 or melondy.franklin@dc.gov
